Londen, May 25. Buyers from all parts of the world are assembling in Birming- ham for the Heavy Section of the British Industries Fair.
The Internasional character of the Fair was stressed by Mr. T J. Kennedy, the president, at the Press view. There will be more or- ganised parties of overseas buyers this year than in any previous year.
There is evidence on all sides that British Industry has not lost its traditional enterprise and inita- tive in soundness or design, mater- ial, and expert craftmanship. The diversity of products in the hardware, Ironmongrey and brass ,foundry sections can have few
parallels in modern industry.

London, May 25. The Prince of Wales 12 to become captain of the Walton Heath Gol Club on June 1.
The Prince was playing to-day in the Parliamentary Golf Handicau at Walton Heath. He has offered a trophy for annual competition among the members.
Walton is one of the Prince's favourite courses. There, under the tuliion of the great James Braid, he underwent the most strenuous part of his golf apprenticeship.
He will be Walton's first captaini
