On the whole the racing was good with only two favourites coming up to ex- pectations. Mr. Harold Seth's Just That returned $94.70 for a win, this being the highest dividend of the day and hackers of Pride of Tsingtao and Forget-me-not were each rewarded with $108.10 for the Daily Double.

In connection with this race Forget-me-not, ably ridden by H. C. Pih, came in first in a thrilling finish, just beating Flamingo by a short head.

Recreio Leading In Premier League RAIN CURTAILS BOWLS PROGRAMME Arculli's Rink Gives Craigengower "B" Win
Three bowls fixtures were unplayed on Saturday, one in the senior division and two in the junior due to the sodden con-" dition of the round. Chief interest was centred on the Re- creio v. Kowloon Cricket Club match when the Portuguese lads had no dimcuity at all in annexing both ponits from their neigh-
bours.
Kowloon Bowling Green bowed to the Craigengower second string by one point after an exciting tussle, the result was in doubt until almost the last head of the match.
Police accounted for the Kowloon Docks by a margin of 10 shots.
Only one shot was recorded on Saturday F. X. S' Re- erelo quartette, comprising A. &*Ramedlos, J. G. Ozorjo, and L. A. Gutierrez, accomplishing the feat against R. P. Phillips' vanquish- ed four, while H. Westlake's Civil Service rink scored a 6 against W. Muskett's victorious Electric"four.
