W. Nell showed his former sajl- ing form by winning in Viking the Arst of the Shanghai Yacht Club's harbour races of the season, In- gomar (Blaikie), although first to cress the line, took second place on handicap, with Mignon (Tren- chard Davis) third,
Five boats of “A” and “B” Class turned up for the race, sailed at the point yesterday evening. The course was from the Point Line (Lady Anne and No. 36 Buoy) down river with the ebb tide and beamish wind, round Tungku Buoy to starboard and return,' a distance of four miles.
