The first annual general meet- ing of the club, held at the club house. was largely attended by members and friends.

Evan Wang and Keng Hock paved the way to victory for the S.CR.C. Wong was very aggressive and hit nine fours and a six which crashed into the adjoining police court buliding.

Keng Hock, who brought the century on the board, was more restrained, in that he took a longer time than usual to collect his runs. He included Ave fours in his score.

The winning hit was made by Choon Lla with a boundary hit of Sir Shenton just before the tea interval.
