HONG KONG OFFERS THANKS
Special Services At The Cathedrals
HIS EXCELLENCY READS THE
LESSONS
There were large attendances at the Thanksgiving Services at St. John's Cathedral and the Catholic Cathedral, both of the ceremonies being most impressive. His Excellency and Lady Feel were amongst those who attended the Service at St. John's Cathedral when the sermon was preached by the Bishop of Victoria, the Right Reverend Ronald Hall.
At the Catholic Cathedral the local Catholic Community turned out in full strength at the special Service held, and His Lordship Bishop Valtorta delivered a most awe-inspiring sermon.
All the Colony's leading residents were present at either St. Johnis or the Catholic Cathedral, and it may be truly said that Hong Kong was not backward in showing its gratitude that God has so long spared our beloved Sovereign to rule over
us.
