TRIBUTE TO DR. GIBSON
After Thirty-Eight Years Of Good Work
A strong appeal for further subscriptions to the Building Fund for the erection of a new building for the Nethersole Hos- pital was made by the Hon. Dr. S. W. T'so, the Chairman, at the annual meeting of the Alice Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals held at the board room of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce yesterday.
Reference to the impending reifrement of Dr. R. M. Gibson, who has been the Superintendent of the Hospitals for the past 38 years, was also made by the Chairman, and at the conclu- sion of the meeting, a resolution that a ward in the proposed new Nethersole Hospital be named the "Gibson" ward was car- ried with acclamation.
