Now when he feels so inclined he has emerged from his self-appointed "hermitage," claiming to be the saviour of society. Mr. Lloyd George is not anxious to join the Government--that would be too much like reward or recognition, but he is ready to do all he can to that back up any Government undertook reconstruction resolute- ty and on a bold scale. This leads one to ask that if the present Government has never gone about their business with the requisite resolution and boldness, why is it that Mr. Lloyd George has never come forward to show the better way?
For the moment, however, let us forget the past and concern our- selves only in the present and the
future. Just a little over a month ago, Mr. Lloyd Gearge, at Bangor, few a kite" and the response, ar- cording to himself, was unex- pectedly favourable, Though he

If the plan is, as Mr. Lloyd George claims, such an excellent one, why does he still feel reluctant about divulging the details, ignorance of which, by his own account, dis- qualifies judgment?
