Shanghai, March 20. The new trimotored Ford air- liner which recently arrived from America for the China National Aviation Corporation will shortly be down to Chungking to in- augurate the New C. N. A, C, air line from Chungking to Yannanju via Kwelchow after its final test fights at the Lunghwa Airdome.

First survey. Hights over the Yannanfu run were made by Cap- tain E. M. Allison in a Stimson monoplane in the spring of Inst year. Captain Allison reported that despite the high mountains the route was entirely practicable. Since these first survey flights, plans for the line have been pushed and will shortly be realized.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE Several test fights will be made first over the new route to test the radio equipment and the plane will be flown by Pilots F. E. Nelson, and N. B: David, now flying the route.. The Chungking-Chengtu

branch route will first be operated a weekly schedule,
