A HIGH TERRACE
It is not perhaps out of place to remind you that Indo-China is roughly speaking a high terrace with peaks 8,000 feet high, porder ed in the North and South by the deltas of the Red River and the Me Kong, on the west by the valley of the Me-Kong and on the east coast by a narrow tongue of land, the mountains sometimes finishing abruptly into the sea and forming cavities that remind you of the Norwegian fjords.

A FLYING VISIT
Hue deserves a long sojourn as it represents with Angkor and the Bay of Ha-Long the three won- ders of Indo-China. But we must proceed to Yunnan, and I have no more than 8 or 7 taimutes to take you there and back.
Up to Hanol the road is perfect; I only recommend you to drive slowly, as it is crowded with thousands and thousands of people marching from dawn to night in all directions, 'We' met many Buses on the road, that bear the manies of far distant places.
