Shanghai Market,
Opened steady with sellers at 1/6 for near and, 1/5 3/4 March. Subsequently the selling rate gra- dually rose to. 1/6 3/16 for cash and 1/8 March. The market was strong U. S. Dollars, early advices Indicated sellers at 35 1/2 for near and 36 1/16 March, the selling rate rising gradually to 36 7/8 for cash and 36 9/16 for March. The mar- ket was strong.
