NEW WAYS OF FLYING

DARING RED RAID

Imprisoned Leaders Released

Pelping, Jan. 31. Provincial troops and Red bandits are now fighting in North- West Shand as the result of a daring Red raid across the Yellow River. Shensi Reds crossed - the river and attacked the town of Kolanshien in North-West Shanst where a prominent Red lender named Tuan was in gaol. Kolan- hsten Police put up a stiff fight and after some hours' street war- fare in which the Director of Pub- lic Safety and ten Police were killed, the Reds captured the gaol and released Yuan, The Police, how- ever, continued to attack and killed Yuan as he was escaping.

Terror stalks abroad? Fear, that grisly watch dog snaps ai my heels, and chases me along each lonely street.

And I say to myself, "No. Quarter, old lion-heart, at last you'are afraid.” I have gone too far; I have aroused the indignation of the Girl gangsters.

Last week, I inveighed in fiery rhetoric against “SÜly empty- beaded little women who think they rule the globe." The sequel was not long by coming.

Two days later I was walking down a deserted street, when a car drew up beside me with a screech of the brakes. Out of it jumped & MASKED BLONDE, with a sub- Thompson machine gun in either hand.
