TRAINING GALLOPS

Foxbridge Goes Over Good Mile: Derby Day's Fine Sprint

(BY MORNING DEW")

Below will be found the training times clocked yesterday from which it will be seen that work yesterday was still on the slow side, the best gallop being that of Foxbridge who went over a mile in 2.11.3, running easily, at the finish. Pacific Hall went over the full Derby distance, while Herod did not gallop. Mistake Bay finished nicely at the end of a gallop over a mile and a half.

Quite a number of Australians were ralloped, the most in- teresting being the sprint by Derby Day who went over half a mile in 35 seconds.
