Flying Rotarian's Impressions Of Recent Trip
""
Yesterday's meeting of the Rotary Club was described by its Chairman, Mr. M., K. Lo, as a "red letter day" for the Club, for in addition to the fact that HE the Governor graced the proceeding by his presence, there was an attendance of over a hundred and thirty u embers, and moreover, the address which followed the lunch was one of the best of its kind that bad been delivered at the Club.
<
Referring to Blr William Peel's presence, Mr. M. K. Lo re- minded "the gathering that His Excellency was the first Honor- ary Member of the Club. The Cha'rman extended His Excel- lency a warm welcome and added that the Club would look. forward to the presence of both Sir William and Lady Peet on February 14, which had been set aside as Lady's Day.
There was a very large number of guests, to all of whom -warm welcome was extended. The Chairman mentioned specially the presence of Mr. Charles L. Hoover, U. S. Consul General, the Hon. Sir Henry Pollock, who had just returned from a holiday abroad, and the Hon. Mr. C. Gordon Mackie.
