THAT'S A GOOD GIRL

Jack Buchanan At His Best

"That's a Good Girl" is the third British and Dominions picture in which Jack Buchanan has starr- ed.

How Herbert Wilcox acquired the services of Britain's most popular stage figure is still recent history. it was soon after Mr. Buchanan's return from America where he had starred in Monte Carlo" with Jeanette MacDonald that the announcement of the British and Dominions capture was made.

Then followed the news of Jack Buchanan's first, subject a musical called "Good Night Vienna" to be personally directed by Herbert . Wilcox.

"Good Night Vienna" proved at a blow that Jack Bucharan was the biggest box-office name in British pictures. The film ran fourteen weeks at the Capitol Haymarket, and broke wherever it was shown.

Incidentally," Good Night Vienna" set Anna Neagle's feet on the path to her stardom in "The Little Damozel," "Bitter Sweet" and now "The Queen."

Jack Buchanan had shown such an accurate knowledge of popular taste in making certain suggestions, for incorporation in "Good Night Vienna that Herbert Wilcox assigned him to direct himself in his next picture.
