The Queen's
"Gift of Gab" the Universal pro- duction having its finai showings to-day at the Queen's Theatre brings with it music. laughter, romance, thrilis, adventure, and above all thirty stars of screen, stage and radio. It is a show that has no equal! The story takes you behind the plate glass of a broad- casting studio and reveals for the first time the loves and lives, the triumphs and thrills of the famous people of the air!
The cast includes Edmund Lowe who rises from the position of an auctioneer to the foremost bread- casting announcer and reporter in America. He knew about everything from riots to exclusive zociety weddings--but he didn't know what was going on right in his own heart. The feminine roles are played by Gloria Stuart, Jean Knight, Alice: White while others in the cast who are seen include Chester Morris, Paul Lukas, Bin- nie Barnes, Bela Lagost and Kar- loff.
Five song numbers are perform ed by some of the favourites of the air. These are. "I Ain't Gonna Sin No More," "Talkin' To My self," "Blue Sky Avenue," "Some- body Looks Good to Me" and "Don't Let This Waltz Mean Good bye. Ruth Etting, noted "singing star of radio and motion pictures, Gene Austin, Gus Arnheim, Phil Baker, the Downey Sisters are the contributors of the music of the picture.
