Yet another defeat has been debited to 5. China "B"-ibs time the Lincolns being the party responsible. In a very fast game which deteriorated after the sldiers had piled on three goals, fonts became frequent and spectators were heard to ex- hort players to "play the men" instead of the ball.

St. Joseph's College put up a much better showing than was anticipated, the inclusion of several Queen's players put life into the team and this put a very different complexion to the match. With Dellar and Souza at back. Howe and Cb, were very much checked.

Lincolns junior retained their 100 per cent, record when they defeated E. Lanes by one goal yesterday.. Eastern and China Athletle made their exits in the Junior Shield Compell- tion by losing to the Navy and. Engineers respectively.

A large crowd was disappointed on Saturday when the Fu siliers failed to put in an appearance against S. China "A" at Caroline Hill.
