Motor Car Plunges Into River

Tientsin, Dec." 17. The community in Tlentain is appalled by the tragedy last night which took the lives of two most popular young Britons, Mr. Ronald Tipper and Miss Crookshank.

Apparently they were returning home after midnight and mistook a turning in the road owing to the fog and proceeded straight to the Bund where the car, a closed Ford, leaped into the river.

The car was found this morning at a depth of fifteen feet at Halho. Later the body of Mr. Tipper was recovered. Except for a handbag which was found in the car, there was no trace of Miss Crookshank, who is believed to have leapt from the car when It plunged into the river- Reuter.
