BRITISH COMMERCIAL FLYING CORRESPONDENCE
Lord Londonderry's Reply To Critics
VERY MUCH AHEAD OF
COMPETITORS
Speaking in the House of Lords on November 21, Lord Lon- donderry gave a comprehensive survey of the existing position of British commercial aviation as compared with those of other countries. He very emphatically proved to the critics that the claims of very high speed attained by Continental air lines were exaggerated and moreover that the British "commercial planes carried a very considerable proportion of both passenger and mail traffic. The future policy of development in commercial aviation was also lucidly outlined.

My Lords, I am very glad the Noble Lord.
