Frank Morgan's interpretation of the multimillionaire industrial magnate is just another example of the fine artistry of this ver- satile player. It is always, hard to-be sorry för millions of dollars. But Morgan wins the understand- ing sympathy of his audience- indeed triumph.

Doris Lloyd is charming as Morgan's pre-occupied wife, Clara Blandick is delightfully acrid es his secretary, while Shirley Grey does a hard-boiled actress "effec- tively The remainder of the cast is well chosen.

the rarest insurance policies in the history of motion picturee was taken out by RKO-

Radio Pictures for Miss Irene Dunne, shortly after the star went in which Richard Dix is co-starred, before the camera for "Stingaree

showing at the King's Theatre to- day.

The policy, for $100,000 according to studio officials, is more like a guarantee than "assurance. In it is a proviso that the entire sum of $100,000 will be paid to anyone who can prove that Miss Dunne does not sing every one of her songs in the production, or who can prove that a substitute sings for her.

The policy, it is declared, was prompted by hundreds of fan letters Inquiring whether the songs oc- casionally sung in Miss Dunne's recent pictures were in her valce.

Fandom seems to be labouring under the impression that Miss Dunne is not a singer," declared David Lewis, Associate Producer in charge of "Stingaree.”
