Three men and A woman, all Hoklos, appeared before Mr. E ̧ W. Hamilton yesterday charged with the possession of two baskets con- taining 72 lbs. of dutiable tobuc ca at 13 Yenchow Street second floor on November 18.

Inspector Shaftain and stated that the second de- fendant was seen by a Chiness detective at 5.15 pm., on Novem- ber 18. He was carrying a basket which was found to contain to- bacco Defendan; took the detec- tive to 13, Yen Chow Street, where another basket was found. The woman was found there and she was taken into custody. Later. the third and fourth defendants were arrested.
