Marbuck, Nov. 10. The 150th anniversary of Fried- rich Schiller's birth was celebrated here on Saturday in all solemnity, all church bells pealing in chorus as the procession of citizens bear- ing wreaths and floral tributes marched to the house where the poet first saw light. - Among those who visited the spot were Baron von Neurath, the Foreign Minister, Mergenthalet, the Wuerttemberg Premier, and many prominent leaders of the National-Socialist party.
Meanwhile an extraordinary im- pressive service took place in Welmar at the poet's last resting place, attended by Hitler, Goebbels, Grand Duchess Sachsenweimar,
Prince Karl August, Premier of Thuringia and many other dis- tinguished personages in the new Reich.
