Saturday's League Foothsil produced some thrillng displays, the outstanding game being that between South China "B" and Che Club which ended in a draw after 70 minutes of gruelling and exciting soccer.

The Club played up to a high standard und although several opportunkles were wasted in the first half owing to a weak left wing, the forward line was very dangerous and gave the league leaders their most anxious time to date.

The Club defence was magnificent with Syd Strange and Camble forming a formidable support to Jackle Pote Hunt and

the Club halves.

Fowler and Howe were the outstanding forwards and the former fed the latter with some zierlous passes and in the last minute was unlucky not to score after running through the de- fence from an oblique angle.

The Chinese team were badly, rattled in the opening half by the machine like attacks of the Club forwards and although sev- eral opportunities were presented them, they failed to -score, largely owing to the magnificent display of Georre Rodger, the Club's custodian who excelled himself.
