Only Show Work Yesterday At The Course
(BY MORNING DEW")
Training performances at the course yesterday were all on the slow side. This fact is probably because 'most of the ponies ralloped were in trim and there is really no call for a hard gallop so soon after a race meeting.
Some of those who moved well were Racing Boy, Young Chap. ..... Burgomaster and Wayward Stag. King's Warden-put in a good last quarter at the end of a slow malle.

The prize kindly presented by Mrs. J. B. Ross for a Bogey Con- petition held on the New Course, Fanling on Tuesday, October 23 was won by Mrs. Fitz-Gerald, 5 up,
Other scores were:-
Mrs. Williamson, 3 up. Mrs. W. J. E. Mackenzie, 2 up. Mrs. Fitz-Gerald went round in 89-33-56. This automatically re- duces her handicap from 33 to 19. Mra. Williamson's score was 88- 18-68 and she comes down to 15 while Mrs. Mackenzie took 97-33- 64 and her new handicap is 24.
