Owing to the general fall in freights the port charges in Am- sterdam are being reduced, as it is found that shipping companies now consider very closely to what ports they will send their ships. It has been agreed with Rotter- dam that the new charges will be much the same as those of that port.

London, Sept. 23. The report of Harrisons and Crosfield. Limited, secretaries and managing agents of tea, rubber tim, and other properties, for the year to June 30 last is available it shows an increase in net profit. after providing for depreciation and income tax, of £261,503 which goes against £214,339 a year ago. With the balance brought in A of £390.854 is available, against £323,317...

A final dividend of 15 per cent. is announced on £388,684 of defer- red Ordinary stock capital. This with an interim of 5 per cent. al- ready paid, makes 20 per cent. for the whole of 1933 and 5 per cent. for 1932. A final dividend of £39.918 is paid to holders of management shares less £12,500 refund of directors remuneration. A balance of £134,555 is carried forward.
