DESTROYERS IN TYPHOON

The destroyers of the 8th Flot- Bin, China Btation, which were caught in the typhoon while pass- ing through the Inland Bea-last week, are making a cruise in Japanese waters. They had been at the rest base at Wel-hai-wel for some weeks, and left there on Beptember 15 the fatills leader Keppel, Captain A. R. Hammick, with the Verity and Wild Swan, for Beppu, and the Whitehall and Wishart for Miyajima, Last Thursday they left those porta for Kobe, and it was while on passage there that the typhoon broke

over them

They are to remain at Kobe until Saturday, and then leave for Keelung where they should be from October 2 to 4.
