New York, Sept. 29. The American Oriental Finance Corporation's report through their Stocks: The market was quiet New York agents. Messrs. E. A. and featureless, awaiting President Pierce & Co.. states:-

Stocks: There is nothing to say about the market. Träders are are waiting for President Roose- velt's radio broadcast speech, which is scheduled for to-morrow evening. Wheat:The weakness of Sep- tember wheat is causing easiness in other months. General trade was quiet and featureless.

A very pretty wedding took place, at St. Peter's Church, Selsey, on Saturday last, when Miss Barbara Violet Franklin, daught of Mrs. A. C. Franklin of Hong Kong, was married to Captain Geoffrey Hugh Buckton Moss, of the Royal En gineers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moss. of Chariton House, Hartlebury, Worcester.

The bride was charmingly attirad in a white lace dress, with a small têniu and long-sleeved contee, with net veil and orange blossom "oir- eled. She carried a sheaf of pales pink rosebuds and white heather.

She was attanded by Miss Joan Moss, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a very pretty blue lace dress,

with hat to match.
