After à lapse of about two-and- a-half-years, the Interport swim- ming contests will be resumed this evening at Shanghai where the Triangular Interport contest be- tween Shanghai, Tientsin and Hong Kong is being staged.
The cream
of the swimming talent available from these three ports will be seen in action to- night, when the 220 Yards Free Style, the 100 Yards Breast Stroke and the Free Style relay, together with several other events will be swun off at the Cercle Sportif Francais (The French Club) and
Shanghai residents will have their first opportunity of viewing the best sprinters that Tientsin and Hong Kong have.
In the 220 Yards Wilfred Law- rence and L. Roza Pereira. prob- ably two of the finest swimmers the Colony have ever had, will be Ohlwin and opposed to Dr. R. George Nigniewitzky-of-Tientsin whose proven efforts need no in- G. troduction, and against N. Hammond and Archie Logan of Shanghal
Lawrence, Nigniewitzky, Ham- mond and
Roza Pereira Le will probably finish up within the first four although probably not in the order given.

Breast Stroke Title
Kwok Chun-hang, China's National Breast Stroke cham- plon has had the unique honour of being failed to participate in the Melbourne Centenary Championships and will be pro- vided with a free passage to and from Australia in addition to having all his expenses paid.
This is a result of communications between Mr. Fawcett. Hon. Secretary of the Victoria Amateur Swimming Association who is in charge of the Swimming arrangements, and Mr. W. Railton, former Hon. Secretary of the Hong Kong Interna- Bonal: Amateur Swimming Association, whose recent arrival ini Hong Kong from Australis brought the Colony the news of the probable invitation.
