"GLAMOUR"

At The King's Theatre

One little-known theory as to the best means by which a womati may acquire a glamorous person - ality is expounded in "Glamour,” Universal's drama based on

"the eternal triangle " which is NOW showing at the King's Theatre.

Constance Cummings and Paul Lukas play featured roles in this absorbing screen play, while Philip Reed is seen at the other point of the love triangle which develops, completely changing the lives of

all the people concerned.

As the story opens Miss Cum- mings, a chorus girl, worms herself into the affections of Lukas, com- poser of uniformly successful musical pläys, and the song writer eventually devotes all his talents to the advancement of the girl, bringing about her elevation to stardom in his plays. Finally the two are married, and the young wife becomes the reigning success of the New York stage, happily wed to the man of her heart. At length, however, Reed is engaged as her leading man, and „soon afterward the two fall in love with cach other with the broken hearted husband pretending indifference in order to preserve his wife's hap piness. Reed and Miss Cummings go to Londori together and are married, and it is now the wife who subordinates herself to further the success or her mate
