New York, Aug. 30. The American Oriental Finance Corporation's report through their New York agents. Messrs. E. A. Pierce & Co., states:-
Stocks: The action of the mar- ket is at no: reassuring.
Wheat: The market seemed to derive most of its strength from corn. A falr measure of support Was
from Winnipeg. apparent There was considerable comment от the passibility of überal amounts of wheat being used to feed Uvestock, this season. Crop comments from Australia are un favourable while Argentine advices Indicate a crop around the average Cotton:-There was hedging and general realizing on strike news and a weaker Sterling exchange. Trade buying was not large enough to absorb offerings except of
declines.
Rubber: The market opened strong on the strength of the Lon- don market. Prices held steady until Sterling began to drop this afternoon, Dealers and Commis- sion Houses were both buyers and sellers of September option.
