A great decrease in the number of crimes reported in the Interna tional Settlement la shown in the report of the Police Commissioner for the month of July. Not only did the figures decline from those of the months just previous but the difference between July of last year and this year particularly marked, July 1933 had a reported uumber of 1455 `ng against 970 for the same month this yer.
