Indians Create League Record
The leagus dawn bowls matches on Saturday provided no startling results. The only upset in the first division was the surprisingly good form of the Police Recreation Club who won at Talkoo. The Bowling Green had a close shave, coming away with a three-shot victory over the Club de Escreio.
In the second division the Indian Recreation Club are prov-- ing themselves a big factor. They visited the Hong Kong Football Club and won by the huge margin of 90 to 46. Their The Bowling store of 90 is a league record for this season. Green who are lying second, just managed to win on the Re- crelo's rinks getting home by a difference of one shot.
In beth divisions the Civil Service Club's engagements were postponed.

The Ladies. Undoubtedly one of the thrilling races of the night was the Ladies' .50 Yards Aggregate Handicap which was won by Miss J. Weller from Mrs AC. Schreu- der, who started from scratch, in 37.-3/5 secs. Mrs. Schreuder con- ceded 12 seconds to Miss J. Wilson and swam a magnificent race to. lose by a minute fraction.
The handicapping in this event. was very good and although at first it looked as if the margin was too much, Mrs. Schreuder and the others all finished up in a bunch."
