The American Oriental Finance Corporation report through their New York agents, Messrs. E. A, Pierce & Co., states:-

Stocks:-There is no particular change in the market. ..It K

thought that the tone has improved as the concensus of opinion ap- pears to favour the maintenance of long positions, for the full con- fidence in the up-turn in business at the Fall is seemingly unshaken. Business done: 440,000 shares.

Wheat:-The higher Liverpool market and the increasing pre- miums in Kansas City strengthening influences. Pressure was light and hedging was mo- derate." Canadian weather is ideal. Tuesday's sales: 13,781,000 bushels. Cotton:-The market responded to higher Liverpool advices but rased on Southern selling and long liquidation, apparently induced by [12'044. | favourable, weather conditions in the Far West as revealed by the weekly weather report.

Silver:-An undisclosed principal has returned to the market as the principal buyers; the balance of trading came from widely scatter- ed sources. Differences bave nar- rowed slightly. Business done: 80 contracts.
