Upset Punters
(BY "MORNING DEW")
The third extra race meeting at Macho was held yesterday under a strong sun, which may have in some way been respon- sible for the small attendance. The cash sweep figures were very small indeed,
As predicted in my article on Saturday, the "View" stable had a very good day, accounting for three of the seven races.
The sensation of the day was the success of Boxing Eve, one of the best sprinters of former days in the June Meeting Handicap. The pony was cleverly ridden by Mr. Gilbert Harri- man to win from Racing Triumph and Daylight Eve.
Cebu and Bold Commander were the other ponies to upset punters. Both of them returned handsome dividends to their supporters.
