Mrs. J. M. d'Almada Remedios had a narrow escape from a nasty accident on Saturday evening at about 6.45 p.m., when driving ber ear in Waterloo Road.

She had just passed the entrance of Dundas Street when lorry No. 2972 came into Waterloo Road,. smashing into the Remedios's car.
