NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP

The Hongkong University won; the championship with 70 points with the Sun Yat Sen University second with 59 points, followed by with 40 the Lingnan University points. In the ladies' section, the Sun Yat Sen University proved shoulders themselves head and

above their rivals, securing no less than 56 points with Lingnan Uni- versity second with 8 points and the Hongkong University with seven points.

The surprise of the meet was the failure of the Lingnan undergra- duates who won the championship last year.

The local undergraduates were given a serious challenge by the, Sun-Yat-Sen University, so much so that it was not until the last event that the championship was decided. The winners had much to thank Tan You Nee who dis-

Anguished himself both in track and field events and it was he who secured most points for them;
