The A. O. F. Corp. has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. There was some support to day, or it may be that liquidation was witheid when say threat of disorder appeared. The list does not yet act as if price stabilisation had been re- ached. It is difficult to obtain a clear-cut reason for the liquidation; how ever, some observers are tuned bearish on the near-by outlook for the motor and steel industries.

Wheat: Crop and weather conditions caused a sharp advance, which was checked by the day's limits. Without good raius, ballish sentiment will intensify and the weather forecast gives very little hope of reliet.

Cotton: Prices opened lower on Liverpool, the South and commission houses selling, but later rallied in sympathy with wheat,

Silver: The market opened lower on easier cables, but rallied on lack of offerings. Liquidation for May seemed to meet strong calls for buying.. Business Done! 2,130,000 shares,
