The Hong Kong Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals are faced with the necessity of re- building their dogs' home. The old site is required for.. widening Waterloo Road.

The Society has been able to secure the honorary services of the well known local architect, Mr. Leslie Ross, ARLE.A. who has given the problem considerable thought and had made extensive enquiries throughout the East into the local practices etc., regarding the housing of dogs, with the re- which have sult that the plans now came to hand, after being passed by the Public Works De- partment and Colonial Veterinery Surgeon, may be considered to be the most up-to-date in the Far East.
