Washington reports continue to feature the efforts of the Silver. Wheat: There was renewed liquidation, the Trade being disturbed by Secretary of Agriculture Wallace's statement to the effect that domestic and-world prices of wheat tend to come together during the present year. There was a late rally on the silver news from Washington. Cotton: There was considerable liquidation early in the day influence- mainly by the weakness of grains, but prices rallied later on a priss state ment that a compromise on the silver question was possible.
