The governor la murdered. ` In- spector Dyke is called in on the case and is just at the point of solving the mystery when the mararajah is shot in the back However, before the train reaches Bombay he not only has captured the killer, but has been of much service..to other characters, aboard the express.

Edinund 'Lowe does a fine job as Inspector Dyke. Onslow Ste- vens and the beautiful shirley Grey supply the love interest. John Davidson is excellent as the Eurasian crook, and Hedda Hop- per Ralph Forbes, Jamieson Thomson. John Wray, Tom Moore and Brandson Hurst put life into their roles.

Much of the fascination of the picture lies in the bizarre, a new background for a mystery story. Of chief interest is the Indian train, the quaint stations, and the feeling one has of the teeming millions in the "exotic country of countless secrets.
