The dockyard of Blohm and Voss launched a new motor-vessel des- tined for pleasure cruises for the Hamburg-Amerika Line called "Koenigin Luise." The motor vessel has a registered tonnage of 3,400 tons and a speed of 17 miles. The name was given to the ship in memory of the old "Koenigin Luise" which was converted into an au- xillary cruiser at the beginning of the great war and which was sunk in the mouth of the Thames when laying mines.-Transocean. Vienna, April 10. A catastrophe occurred on the Vienna-Munich express on Tuesday near Linz..on the Danube, two train officials being killed and 15 passengers critically injured, part of the train being reduced to mat- chwood. It is feared that the calamity is a political' outrage and not a technical fault. Thirty feet of rails were torn up and laid across the track, sending the locomotive hurtling through the air to land upside down causing complete destruction of twò mail cars, also two passenger cars, and derailing the next three sleeping compartments. It is remarkable that two previous attempts both

mistake."

The show's got to be a success because, because-because-Victor gave a check for the theatre, and he hasn't a penny. If you don't sing the part he'll go to fall."

The elevator cage came up. "I hope they send him to Devil's Island,” Shirley said, spitefully. She moved blindly into the eleva- tor cage. Charles winced, and he stared as the cage of the elevator disclosed therein the plane with the score set upon it. Just as it was moved from the drawing room and an operator followed Shirley in just before the gate was slammed. The operator stared at the two. Shirley saw the piano, stool on top of the piano.
