but when
challenged at the straight, gradu- ally lost ground. Kindo took the lead, but Dare Devil came along at the outside and did the trick The fight for third place was very interesting, Young Hero just get- ting the verdiet from Scar Face.
THE LAST RACE There was no doubt about the fact that Partnership was head and shoulders better than the others in the last race and S. Y. Leing. who rode him, had no difficulty in winning. Gay Butterfly finish- ed second and Warrington third. Burgomaster and Orlando led the fleid, but both had had enough when the straight was reached, when Partnership, Gay Butterfly and Warrington passed them for finish in that order.
