There was a full programme of league matches all over the country on Saturday and in some cases, the spectators were provided with plenty of excitement. The Arsenal and the Wolves, for instance, were engaged in à gruelling battle for the points with the former finally winning by the odd goal in five.
They are now bracketed with Huddersfeld for the first place in the first division league table.
