The material can be seen at the places named in the Specification, and, as each Lot must be taken as it i lies, intending offerers are requeste:! -to inspect same before tendering.

Tender may be for all or any" portion of the material specified, but EACH LOT MUST BE UFFERED FOR SEPARATELY,

Delivery will be made free at the place where the material is lying. All cartage charges to be paid by the

Purchaser.

Terms of payment-Net Caali before delivery, payable to the Colonial Treasury.

Each Tenderer must produce with his tender a receipt that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $10 (ten dollars) as a pledge of the bona fides of his tender. she said deposit shall be lorfeited to the Crown should the tenderer, refuse or fail to carry out to the antisfaction of the Government any tender which shall be accepted.

The deposit shall be returned to Bay tenderer whose tender is not accepted and to the successful ten- derers on payment into the Coloniai Treasury if the sum tendered and

accepted.

The-Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender, and reserves to itself the Sption of accepting FOR ALL OR ANY PART o the tender.

For form of tender and further particulars apply to the Superinten dent of Accounts and Stores, Public Works Department, at the Bullock Lane, Wanchai Depot, where the major portion of the items is held and can be inspected.
