Pelping, March 16... The death occurred to-day of heart-future, while sitting at his desk, in the Rockefeller Hospital of Dr. Davidson Black, who was famous for his work on the Peking Man. Reuter.

'The death' occurred at the Gov- ernment Civil Hospital on Thurs- day night of Capt. John Roberts. for many years a well-known figure on the China Coast... The deceased who was 65 years of age, had been in the Hospital since last October suffering from per- nicious anaemla.' He was affec- tionately known as "General" Ro- berts to his large circle of friends, and he will be sadly missed.
The Funeral
The funeral took place at the Protestant Cemetery last evening, the Rev. H. W. Baines oficiating at the graveside.
Those present were Mr. John Wilson. master mariner. who had known the deceased for the past 35 years.
