Axia Lands, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E A. Pierce & Co. Everything considered, we think that the action of the market is constructive rather than the reverse, with still more favourable construction upon the near-term trend, provided the move in utilities which is beginning this afternoon, follows through. Wheat: Local market traders were evening up at the close. Outside interest was light and receipts were a little larger.

Cotton: A favourable committee report on the Bankhead Bill was responsible for part of the baying. The market later showed independent strength, closing at the day's high levels.

་་

Silver: After some irregularity, a steady undertone developed. Traders are disposed to await definite results with regard to the probable wider monetary use of silver.
