SOUTH CHINA QUALIFIES FOR SHIELD SEMI-FINALS

Club Juniors Beat Borderers

LINCOLNS OVERWHELM CLUB IN SENIOR LEAGUE

of the

South China qualified for the semi-final shield competition with a 3-0 win over the Royal Navy" on Saturday, "while Hongkong F. C. were successful in the Junior replay against the Borderers.

The Lincoln Regt. showed a little of their old form by beating the Hongkong F. C. by seven goals to one in the senior league, and Kowloon" fought St. Joseph's to the last minute on the Railway ground, the St. Joseph's tean winning just on time.

The Navy put on five goals against the Athletic's one at Happy Valley, which the Artillery defeated the Young Indians by five goals to one, although they had Scott ordered off the field during the second half.

These teams met on the Hailway ground, the result came as a surprise. These teams played a drawn game at their first meeting and a very close tussle was expected in the return gane. Eycott opened the score for RAS.C. and added another during the guine. O'Brien and Alvis also scored for the wincers.

RA.F. v. Recreio.

On the Chatham Road ground, the Recreio defeated the Airmen by six goals to three. Campos scored five times for the Recreio and Santos also registered for them. Gartell, Gregory and Thompson scored for the R.A.F.
