CHAMPION JOCKEY FOR
J
CHAMPION'S DAY
Mr. L. G. Frost May Perform Hat Trick This Afternoon
THE "DOUBLES" SHOULD PAY WELL
(BY "MORNING DEW")
On surveying the prospects for to-day's race meeting, I can't help feeling that our champion jockey. Mr. Leo Frost, stands a very good.chance of pulling off four or five races. He is riding Diana Bay, Woodland Stag, and Warrington in the three champions and with a bit of fuck might win all three races. He is also riding Evening Star and Adam in the fourth and seventh races, which are the two events on which the Daily Doubles for to-day will be conducted, and both these ponies appear to have very good chances of winning. He is not likely to start in more than five races.
Of the three champions, Diana Bay's success seem a foregone conclusion, while there does not appear to be very serious opposition against Warrington. The chances of Woodland Stag, however, do not appear equally bright as he will have a tough proposition against Night Star
The Daily Doubles is very open, and if anyone can spot the winners, they are in for a good dividend.
FIRST RACE GIFT FOR HETMAN
The opening race on the pro. gramme appeats, to me Hetman's race and there does not appear to be anything among the entries to extend the Dynasty candidate unless Gold Key can make use of his twenty pounds advantage to give him a run. From what If
of Gold Key in Macao, though, I do not hesitate to saz that Hetman has nothing to feat from him. The Loafer is going out here at 140 pounds and may run into a place.

The fold in the second race will not be more than three. and of these three Pride of Tsingtac and Daylight Eve are the only ones which need be considered.
