The conversations between Lord Tyrrell and Cabinet Ministers during the last few days particularly concerned Germany's attitude on disarmament and suggestions made by Hitler, to M. Poncet in Berlin. These are that the Saar territory should be restored to Germany by negotia tions with France without awaiting the plebiscite in 1935, while Germany claims an army of 300,000 men, but with only nine to twelve months' training. Germany also to possess defensive weapons, but only to gradually while agreeing to accept limitations imposed on other countries.
