AGAIN
Lucky To Force Draw Against K.C.C.
CLUB'S SPORTING DECLARATION PAY
The Indians-Kowloon match in the premier division at Soo- kunpoo on Saturday which promised to be an exciting affairs fizzled out tamely to a draw owing to the fact that the LR.C. batting again falled. The Indians, on the run of the day's play. were extremely fortunate in getting a point.
Kowloon batted first and thanks to some bright batting by E.. F. Fischer (44) and N. A. E. Mackay" (45) declared at 170 for 8. The Indians were up against some mediocre bowling but apart from A. H. Rumjahn (29), A. R. Minu (22) and K. Nazarin (15), who is the captain of their second eleven, their batsman falled tragically and were 90 for 9 when stumps were drawn. Gordon Burnett took five wickets for 25 mina in twelve övers, two of which were maidens. :
CLUB TAKES SPORTING CHANCE
On the Club ground, the home captain took a sporting chance' when he declared their innings closed at 115 for 7 in their league match against Craigen- gower Cricket Club, but this policy paid and they won, by six runs, just beating the clock to it.
Two league matches in the second division were played and these resulted in wins for Graigen- gower (holders: and the Navy over R.A.M.C. and Civil Service Cricket Club Juniors respectively.
There were also a few friendly matches played and the results of these will be found below.
