Members and officials of the welve teams which compose the Mamak hockey league, held the first banquet of what is hoped to be a serice of annual banquets when they gathered at the China Em- porium Cafe De Luxe on Saturday night,

The dinner was admirably ar-* ranged and great credit is due to Mr. Whyte, the chairman and all those who assisted him for the smooth manner in which the whole affair was carried out.

The first speaker of the evening was the chairman who expressed his pleasure at seeing such a large attendance at the same tima stating how much he regretted the absence of Mr. Mamak and Col. E. P. Nosworthy,
